Katrina R. Lynch, MPAS, PA-C
~ Dermatology ~
Trina is a Diplomate with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, a status given to only a select group of dermatology PA’s who have correctly finished and tested in a series of modules on various dermatology topics. Katrina graduated from Midwestern University in 2001. After passing her national certification exam, she practiced in plastic surgery for one year. During that year she completed a Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin’s Dermatology Department. She then moved to Utah where she trained and worked with a board certified dermatologist for four years. While in Utah, she completed her Master’s in Physician Assistant Sciences with a Dermatology Specialty. She organized and formed the Utah Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and served as President for one year.
Trina knew she wanted to be in medicine when she was working in an Army hospital while her husband served in the military. It was there that she learned about PA’s. She loved the concept as she could be in medicine and still choose to have a large family. She was inspired to choose dermatology as her specialty after watching her sister struggle with dermatologic issues.
Katrina is especially interested in adolescent acne, sun protection and skin cancer surveilance. Her practice philosophy is to treat others as she would want to be treated.
